Privacy Policy
Welcome to LifeDigital.pl. We respect the privacy of our users and take care to protect their personal data. Below you will find information about what data we collect and how it is used.
Data controller: The controller of your personal data is LifeDigital Kordian Kaczmarczyk, Parkowa 2, 51-311 Kiełczówek, Poland, tax ID (NIP) 7511769159, REGON 528138400, registered in the Polish Central Registration and Information on Business (CEIDG). For any matters concerning personal data, write to [email protected].
Data we collect:
-
Contact form data: We collect the personal data that users voluntarily provide in the contact form available on our website. This includes data such as first name, last name, email address and the content of the message. This data is used solely to respond to user inquiries.
-
Cookies: Our website uses cookies to improve the browsing experience and to analyze website traffic. Cookies are small text files that are stored on the user’s device. Users can manage cookies by changing their browser settings.
-
IP address and Cloudflare: Cloudflare, Inc. (USA) handles connections to our website, speeds up loading and protects the website against attacks. As our processor (Art. 28 GDPR), Cloudflare processes your IP address and technical connection data, such as your browser type, each time you open the website. Everything you send to the website, including contact form data, also passes through Cloudflare’s network. Data may be transferred to the USA on the basis of the European Commission’s adequacy decision of July 10, 2023, on the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework (Art. 45 GDPR), under which Cloudflare is certified, and, should that certification lapse, on the basis of the Standard Contractual Clauses adopted by the European Commission (Art. 46(2)(c) GDPR). Our server also records your IP address in its access log, which we delete after 15 days at the latest. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in a secure and fast website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
-
Suggesting the German version: When you start your visit on a Polish page (for example, from a search engine) and your browser is set to neither Polish nor German, a script on the website requests from Cloudflare the country code determined from your IP address (for example, “DE” for Germany). If the code is DE (Germany), AT (Austria) or LI (Liechtenstein), the website shows a box suggesting the German version. The country code is used only for this decision: we do not store it or share it with anyone. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in offering you the website in a language you are likely to understand (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Your browser stores the choice you make in this box, as described in our cookie policy.
-
Google Analytics: With your consent given in the cookie banner (“Statistics” category), we use Google Analytics 4 to learn which pages people visit and find useful. Google Analytics then sets the cookies
_gaand_ga_YSDDX69L6S(valid for up to 2 years; some browsers shorten this period) with a random identifier that lets it recognize your browser on later visits, and collects data about the visit: pages viewed, time and source of the visit, device and browser type, approximate location (country, region, city) and your interactions with the site, such as clicks on buttons and links, scroll depth, starting and submitting the contact form (without its content) and the terms you enter in the blog search. Your IP address is used only to determine the approximate location and is not stored. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and Art. 399 of the Polish Electronic Communications Law, Prawo komunikacji elektronicznej). You can withdraw your consent at any time using the “Cookie settings” button in the website footer; withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before it. Until you consent, the Google Analytics script does not load, so Google Analytics receives no data about your visit (reCAPTCHA on the contact page works independently of this consent; see item 6). The view of the page on which you give consent, along with your interactions on it before consenting (for example, scrolling), is held in your browser’s memory and sent to Google as soon as you consent; if you leave the page without consenting, your browser discards this data unsent. If you refuse or withdraw consent, the website sends no further data to Google Analytics and deletes the Google Analytics cookies from your browser. Google Analytics deletes event and user data after 14 months. Advertising features and Google Signals are turned off. Consent in the “Marketing” category does not load Google Analytics on its own; given together with “Statistics”, it reaches Google Analytics as a signal of consent to advertising, which we do not use because advertising features are turned off. The recipient of the data, acting as our processor, is Google Ireland Limited (Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland). Data may be transferred to Google LLC in the USA on the basis of the European Commission’s adequacy decision of July 10, 2023, on the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework (Art. 45 GDPR), under which Google LLC is certified, and, should that certification lapse, on the basis of Standard Contractual Clauses (Art. 46(2)(c) GDPR). -
Google reCAPTCHA: Google reCAPTCHA protects the form on the contact page against spam and bots. As soon as the contact page opens, the reCAPTCHA script sends Google your IP address, information about your browser and device, and data on how you use the page that is needed to tell people from bots (for example, ticking the “I’m not a robot” box), and the service may set cookies on the google.com domain. Google processes this data as our processor (Art. 28 GDPR) under the Google Cloud terms of service and the Cloud Data Processing Addendum, solely to provide the service and protect against abuse. Data may be transferred to Google LLC in the USA on the same basis as in item 5. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in protecting the form against abuse (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
